People started calling me "white addict". I also received several questions; "Why I always wear the same colors?"
I wasn’t really wearing all white or timeless pieces before. 3 years ago, whenever I went shopping, I was picking the most fashionable pieces. But how exactly did I find my personal style?
I was really interested in fashion, style, design or more. It wasn't until I started changing cities and states that I had to minimize my closet. I had almost 30 pairs of shoes and lot's of clothes. My boyfriend nearly lost his mind when we decided to move together.
After moving to Los Angeles, I started reading several books about minimalism simple living. That helped me a lot focusing on the essentials. After having long conversations with my boyfriend, I was just amazed how minimal his closet was, because he was living in /visiting many countries around the world. He had to be minimal because all his belongs needed to fit into two suitcases. After that, I started selling my clothes in second hand stores. Since then I just bought whatever I needed and composed my closet around natural tones. Now looking back, I started to feel really good. The most important thing is that I’m not a slave for my closet. It's a freeing feeling to have just exactly what you need. I can mix and match lot's of pieces together. Now when I travel, my suitcase it just limited to the essentials that I need for any occasion.
