It's holiday season again. Lot's of good food and no count of calories. hahaha
I am a big foodie but I care about my ideal body weight. Here are some of the things I do for myself.
1- Write down what you are eating: There is an app that I use called “Lose it!”. You simply set your goals, track every meal you eat and every exercise you've done throughout the day. It feels good to track what you are putting into your body or how much exercise you have had.
2- Find your favorite activity: I try different types of exercises like yoga, pilates or going out for a walk. Explore what fits you best, I am sure you will like one of them.
3- Water: Drink warm Lemon Water first thing in the morning before eating. It will help your digestion and will give you the necessary Vitamin C.
Also drinking water before each meal will reduce your meal portions.
4- Walk : Don’t worry about the cold weather, if you need to get some coffee or have a meeting with your friends somewhere, try to walk.
5- Snacking: I Always snack before dinner. I eat 10 raw almonds which helps to stop my starving feeling within 20 mins.
6- Take your time: Don’t rush when you eat, Talk or take a break or get a water from the kitchen. It gives your brain time to signal that you are slowly getting full, so you won't overeat. After you stop eating, it will take 30 mins to feel full.
