When I was younger I was way more spontaneous with my time. Then I started to realize that time is the most valuable thing in the world. Since then I became a "planner".
If you don't get it done on time then you start to feel very uncomfortable at the end of the day. You started the project but don’t know how to finish or lost your motivation. Here are simple tips for being a planner person:
1- Calendar: Get a calendar for yourself. Write down every single detail. This could be daily, weekly or monthly. I personalty have 3 different calendars.
Yearly: Fashion weeks, Travels ( I like to plan everything in advance ) other work schedule, holiday plans. My yearly plan is usually similar to the previous years.
Monthly: My blog posts, Brand collaborations, time for friends and family.
Weekly : I like to check my monthly schedule and organize my time more.
2- Be strict : Your schedule might change or you feel like postponing it until tomorrow. I give myself a deadline. If I don’t finish what I had planned then I have to cancel my enjoying time and work instead.
3- Be Honest: I am usually very strict with my schedule. Which means that if another event conflicts with my schedule then I am honest and stick with my usual plan intention. That way I am honest with myself and don't make any empty promises to someone. Instead of putting yourself into an uncomfortable situation, you can just reschedule and meet with them another time.
